For Those Who Are Chronically Online: 2026 Wedding & Honeymoon Travel Inspiration

The wedding and honeymoon destinations that had the internet dreaming about saying "I do."

If you’re anything like me, you find yourself late-night doom scrolling. And typically, it features endless beautiful destinations (shocker, right?), everyone’s favorite social media fixtures, and whatever random craze happens to be trending that week. For me, the standouts this year have been the weddings and honeymoons of some of our favorite online (and offline) personalities.

This weekend just wrapped Bridget Pheloung, or Acquired Style’s, wedding, and it inspired me to think back on some of my other favorite weddings of the year: Dua Lipa and Callum Turner and Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux (with an honorable mention to Paige Lorenze and Tommy Paul).

If you aren't as obsessed with hotels and destinations around the world like I am, I thought I'd gather them all up here to inspire some good old-fashioned wanderlust. So, read along for the inside scoop on the stays behind these three hot weddings and one ultimate Italian honeymoon.

The Newport Wedding

Newport has never been a hotter destination (well, maybe when the rumors were circulating that Taylor Swift was going to have her own Newport wedding). Regardless, now that we’ve seen the first look at Acquired Style's wedding at Castle Hill Inn, it was a clear trendsetter.

New England romance swept the coast with ocean views, historic charm, beautiful gardens, and that effortlessly polished Newport feeling. And while you certainly don't need to get married here to enjoy it, I wouldn't blame you for adding Newport to your next New England itinerary.

The Sicilian Celebration

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s wedding had quite the buzz. From a simple courthouse ceremony in England to shutting down an entire piazza in Palermo, Sicily, for the big celebration and reception, the photos and looks were absolutely iconic.

While celebrating with their friends, family, and just about every music icon, they were staying at the lovely Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel, right on the water in Palermo. With old-world Italian architecture, Mediterranean views, and a setting that feels equal parts glamorous and effortlessly Italian, Villa Igiea was a pretty perfect backdrop for a Sicilian wedding celebration.

The Ultimate Italian Honeymoon Itinerary

Great news: the glamour continues through their honeymoon across famed favorites and hidden gems throughout Italy. From Sicily to Calabria, Basilicata, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Tuscany, and Ischia, their Italian honeymoon was essentially a grand tour of some of the country's most beautiful corners.

The Hotels and Destinations:

  • Villa Igiea, Palermo

  • San Domenico Palace, Taormina

  • Villa Paola, Tropea

  • Palazzo Margherita, Bernalda

  • Villa TreVille, Positano

  • Hotel Locarno, Rome

  • La Posta Vecchia, Palo Laziale

  • Hotel Il Pellicano,  Porto Ercole

  • Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa, Ischia

Of course, it wouldn’t hurt to be just like them and stay at all nine hotels. But in all honesty, just a handful would create a lifetime of memories. This way, you can really slow down and take in every location and property.

The F1 Wedding

After watching the Netflix show and seeing F1 races pop up all around the world, I was hooked. The wedding between Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux in Monaco was just the addition I needed to the world of F, and in Monaco, nonetheless. It's the kind of destination that doesn't require much convincing. Add a few days in Èze, Menton, or along the Côte d'Azur, and suddenly you've got a South of France honeymoon that feels every bit as glamorous as the wedding.

Consider This Your Sign to Book the Trip

Whether you’ve just gotten engaged and you’re adding wedding and honeymoon inspiration to a saved album on TikTok and Instagram, or you haven’t been in a relationship in years… let this be your sign to book the trip. A bestie, lifelong partner, or even a parent (or the whole family!) would absolutely fall in love with all of these destinations.

There’s something special and exciting about the internet buzz giving you the inside scoop and a new perspective of an area. What we love even more than that is taking that inspiration, turning it into real trips, and packing the suitcase full with one too many pairs of shoes.
